  • What's included in our standard "elite cleaning"?
    Do’s: Kitchen (clean sink out, counter tops, cabinet faces upper and lower, stove top) All exterior surfaces in all rooms Floors are mopped and vacuumed Bathroom (complete toilet clean, shower, handles, tub, drain) Bedroom shelving, nightstands, bed frames, tidy up bed) Don’ts: All Extras are not included (must be selected for an additional cost) The extra time included in deep cleans allows for more detailed work in the above mentioned Do’s. No window sills or baseboards
  • What if I want to skip this weeks cleaning?
    No, Unless it’s within the 48 hour window. Within this two day window if you decide to cancel, the clean will be credited to your account at no penalty for future use.
  • Do you clean any outside surfaces of the home?
    We do not. Our insurance only covers our cleaners inside your home.
  • Will I have the same cleaners every time?
    No, unfortunately we can not guarantee you will have the same cleaner every time. We do allow you to request this if you would like, but it's no 100% guarantee. Please understand that cleaners have personal lives, and can get sick, or request leave. If that occurs we’ll ask to either reschedule, or send a different cleaner.
  • Do I have to be home when the cleaners arrive or depart?
    You do not! However if it’s your first time signing up for a hunt's Family Cleaning, initial introductions always help develop the personable relationship with your home specialist.
  • Can I leave a key?
    Yes! It is actually preferred after the initial visit. This way we’re not holding you up if there’s traffic or if parking is a little harder than usual to find.
  • What are your hour of operation?
    Our hours of operation are: Monday – Friday: 8am-7pm Saturday: By appointment only Sunday: CLOSED
  • Do you work on weekends?
    To maintain dependability we have closed weekend hours and will only serve customers during the weekdays. Upon request we do book jobs on Saturdays but a full pre-payment is required.
  • Is there a rescheduling fee?
    We do not charge for rescheduling as long as it is done before 48 hours of your original booking. Please see our Cancellation & Refund FAQ for further information.
  • Can I trust your cleaners are they background checked?
    You sure can! With 60+ 5 star reviews and climbing and our cleaners being federally and state wide background checked we vet the best, and get rid of the rest.
  • Is Hunt's Family Cleaning bonded & insured?
    We are! We’re currently insured for up to $1M in general liability damage. Licensed in Ohio state. And bonded through Hiscox.
  • Is tipping normal? if so how much?
    Yes it is. However there is no suggested percentage, whatever feels good to you. Any amount is appreciated by your cleaning technician
  • What if Hunt's Family Cleaning's staff break something
    This seldomly occurs but accidents do happen. Please contact our office immediately to work with our insurance to get the object of value replaced.
  • What if the cleaner doesn’t stay the entire time or finishes early?
    We price our cleanings based on the job type and production rate. If the cleaner finishes early that is okay. Unless you pay for an hourly cleaning. In that case cleaner will be asked to find additional tax to complete as long as they are not deep cleaning task.
  • Are prices negotiable?
    No!!!, our rates are calculated by the information you provide on our booking page.
  • What if my chose service isn't completed in time?
    An additional booking must be made. In most cases this is because the lack of cleanliness prior to your appointment which requires more time to begin with. Please call the office if you have questions about bookings prior to booking your appointment.
  • What if I am unhappy with my cleaning?
    If you are not happy with the service for any reason please call us immediately for further instructions. A Re-scheduled clean must be made within 2 business days of the original appointment.
  • Does Hunt's Family Cleaning use harsh chemicals
    In some instances “Harsh” chemicals are strictly used on tough to clean areas. For example, a glass shower door with calcium buildup will require CLR to clean.
